A Coin for the Ferryman

A collection of contemporary poetry covering subjects relating to the broad sweep of human experience: family, country, love, friendship, ageing, death, conflict and the constant search for meaning in life are recurring themes in these poems which span the poet's lifetime and reflect her childhood in rural Australia, her many years of work and travel, through to her eventual life in London. Never quite knowing what she wanted to do when she grew up, Katherine Scholfield finally came to the realisation that she never would, but decided to record the experience of trying.
