Keturah

Bok av Robin Gardner
Keturah was sipping tea in the restaurant, seated near the door which was the best position to see any likely customers enter. Out of the corner of her eye, she suddenly saw a tall handsome gentleman enter, not looking very happy, Keturah played one of her many tricks to get noticed, and employing the getting knocked down ploy. As he approached her table, she got up into his path and to the entire world it looked as if he had bumped into her. She stumbled and it appeared she was caught from falling by this gentleman's quick action, and he was immediately full of apologies. Her line had been cast! He saw that she looked like a lady of beauty and real class and spoke well when she answered his apologies, saying she was unhurt! The least he could do to make amends was to offer to purchase her substance in recompense for his clumsy action. Her line was reeled in! Little did she know at the time, he was the last fish she would ever catch, and he never got thrown back! She never cast her line again.
