Emily Rose

It all began in 1849 when a young Irish family courageously made the voyage overseas to start a new life in Canada. Though it wasn't easy, they were able to establish themselves as a farming family with the help of their neighbours. But when their son confesses his desire to become a doctor rather than a farmer, and that he has fallen in love with a Native girl, the family's plans for the future begin to shatter. Will he bend to the wishes of his parents or follow his heart?
