Becoming Part of the Christmas Scenes

A small village nestled deep in the countryside, with a fairly insular community, where normally the only source of excitement would be a fete or the like, a trifle of hot gossip, ridiculous arguments over boundaries or covenants, or at its utmost, who stands to gain from all those solar panels or wind farms. Then suddenly, people stat to disappear, seemingly all from in or around the same place, The Bell Inn, the local pub. A bleak winter hits the village of Witherford, heavy snows, freezing temperatures and strange goings on, with police, psychics, ghost hunters and locals, all trying to unravel the mysteries of the missing people. Ah yes the missing people, they are much closer than any of their rescuers could imagine, all part of the Christmas scenes.
