Living things grow. Kittens become cats. Seeds become flowers. Christianity is no exception. Growing is essential to Faith. Our individual development is precious to God, who gave us our unique talents and self-awareness. The Parable of the Talents teaches us that God wants us to make the most of our own true selves. He wants us to grow more loving, more caring and more sympathetically aware of the needs of others. In doing so, we also grow more like Christ.
