These thoughts and prayers on the Old Testament are the distillation of many years of Bible reading, meditation, and prayer. A Methodist Local Preacher in 1953, the author is now an ordained Anglican Minister at St. Germans's Church in Cardiff. The Old Testament is a vitally important part of the Word of God. It leads us through history, poetry, wisdom, literature, law, and prophecy to a point where we await the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ himself.
