Dope &; Dangerous : A Bunch of Poems about Being Black

This collection of poems and artwork brings light to how Dope yet Dangerous it is to be Black in America. Each poem tells an artistic tale of Black life and the Black experience. This book is a celebration of black life and all the Dopeness and Danger that comes attached with such an identity. As the target of American oppression, that comes in the form of residential zoning, economic disparities, educational disadvantages, the prison industrial system, and the constant fear of physical danger, we still find ourselves glowing and moving the needle of the culture on a cosmic level.
