Bok av Ian J. Sanders
British trench maps are relatively common, but German ones are considerably rarer. This large format reproduction of an original 1/25,000 1917 German trench map covers entire Cambrai front from Queant in the north west to Cambrai in the north east and from Le Mesnil in the south west to Bantouzelle in the south east. The map includes all the key areas such as Inchy, Moeuvres, Bourlon, Fontaine Notre Dame, Graincourt, Flesquieres, Havrincourt, Marcoing, Ribecourt, Noyelles, Villers Plouich, Masnieres, La Vacquerie, Bonavis and Crevcoeur. British trenches and positions are shown in red, German trenches in blue. Other details are included such as barbed wire, light railways, gun emplacements and other associated positions. All maps reproduced in full colour. Visit www.thebattleofcambrai.co.uk for further information.
