Bok av S. Giora Shoham Shlomo Giora Shoham
"...everything around me is opaque, all things, animals, trees and men - especially men and women - are covered by layers of multicolored veils." -Jojo This is the ethnographic composite portrait of Jojo Buzaglo, a schizophrenic drug addict who was hospitalized for murdering his wife. The Healing Dialogue is based on a series of thirteen lectures delivered by Dr. Shoham at the Broadcasting University of the Israel Defense Forces radio station. Shlomo Giora Shoham, Professor of Law at the University of Tel Aviv, Israel, is a world-renowned criminologist. He has been rehabilitating opiate addicts for over twenty years using an innovative method with remarkable success. The method is based on the existentialist approach, which holds that the therapist should enter the realm of the patients and treat them on their own playing field and on their own terms. He is a widely published author focusing on the interdisciplinary features of human personality. Professor Shoham has lectured world-wide and has been resident at the universities of Harvard, Oxford, and Sorbonne.
