Over the years Professor Ridgway has published more than 95 studies. This handsome volume reprints thirty-three of these articles, in order of publication, which reflect the variety of her interests and research into Greek sculpture from the Archaic to late Hellenistic period. They include articles on the west frieze of the Siphnian Treasury, the Peplos Kore, the influence of Alexander the Great, the Gauls in sculpture, the fashion of the Elgin kore, bronzes from the Porticello Wreck, the Parthenon, the Farnese Bull and the Laokoon, all of which are illustrated. Includes a brief introduction by Professor Ridgway.
