After shebecame a member of the Sadler's WellsCompany at the Royal Opera House, shewent with the Company on their 3rd tourof the USA and Canada and went againthe following year, with Moira Shearer andRobert Helpmann in the Old Vic productionof A Midsummer Night's Dream.Dame Ninette de Valois trained ValerieAdams to teach and she went on to teach atthe Sadler's Wells School. She was invitedby the Dutch Government to form a BalletSchool at the Koninklijk Conservatoriumvoor Muziek at The Hague, in order toproduce dancers for the three Dutch BalletCompanies.After five and a half years, she returnedto teach at The Royal Ballet School, as itis now known.
