Bok av Mal Jones
Mal Jones lives in North West England with his partner and cat. He enjoys playing the saxophone, hill walking and running. If you're hiking in Snowdonia or the lakes you may find yourself passing him on a mountain path. Having worked in the public sector for 30 years, he has seen many front line workers trying their best to offer support and compassion in very difficult times. Angry at how the government is cutting the welfare budget and running it as a business, where private companies make vast profits from those who are unwell and in acute distress. Malcolm's novel reflects his fear of what could happen if we do not stand up for the welfare state and where the present policies on austerity could lead.
