The Sligo Journal : Fall 2018 / Spring 2019

The Sligo Journal, an award-winning journal, is a publication of the Creative Writing program of Montgomery College-Takoma Park / Silver Spring, under the Office of the Provost. It promotes the literary and visual arts of the communities as a joint effort of the faculty and students who take courses at Montgomery College's campuses, as well as the literary and visual work of artists, poets and writers of the Takoma Park and Silver Spring communities. A series of events, including readings and exhibits in collaboration with the local communities of Takoma Park and Silver Spring, Maryland, take place to celebrate the work.
