No child taken to Lost Castle has ever returned. When his brother is captured, one boy sets out to do the impossible and bring him home.  When Barley?s brother Rye is captured and taken to Lost Castle, Barley sets out to rescue him. Along the way, Barley encounters a witch who loans him a magic sword and leads him to Lost Castle, but it is up to Barley to keep his heart unselfish so that the magic of the sword can help him free his brother and their other friends who were captured. When Barley succeeds, his brave deed attracts the attention of the king, who summons him in the hopes that Barley can defeat a troublesome dragon.
