Michael reinhardt: my road home - photographs 1970-2003

Bok av Till Schaap
Michael Reinhardt worked for nearly four decades as a well-respected fashion photographer in Paris and New York. His pictures have appeared in Vogue,Harpers Bazaar, The New York Times, Elle, Life, Esquire,Sports Illustrated and countless other magazines and journals reflecting both fashion and popular culture. While travelling the globe, he used his camera to find a different focus, taking personal pictures of 'life' observed along the way. Over the years he has created a completely unique and original photographic record of the diversity of social culture, happening as he saw it...in the moment. He calls it 'streetphotography'. This book is a collection of more than 30 years work, up to 2003. These images have nothing to do with his work as a fashion photographer; they tell a different narrative, a story of life at street level, in pictures. Reserving judgement and forming no personal opinion, Reinhardt has captured fragments of time that attracted his attention, that moved him to visually record his impressions.
