The contributions assembled in this volume derive from a conference which was held in April 2010 as the second out of a series of conferences under the umbrella theme "Current problems in Constitutional Law - Perspectives from Germany and the UK" organised by the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich in cooperation with the Institute of European and Comparative Law at the University of Oxford.
