»The Principle of Environmental Sustainability in Electricity Supply, Its Transposition in the German Energy Act and Interconnections with Energy(environmental-) Provisions«As a basic and regulatory law of the energy industry the German Energy Act of 7 July 2005 does not primarily attain to foster the environmental sustainability of electricity supply, still the principle of environmental compatibility is cited as a general target of the act. In her thesis the author examines to what extent the provisions of the Geman Energy Act enhance the environmental sustainability of electricity supply apart from and interconnecting with technology supporting statutes.
