»The Supply of Water for Mankind and Nature as a Challenge in International Law«The preservation and protection of freshwater constitute pressing problems for the international community. In view of this, this work assesses possible actions in international law which have been put into practice so far and examines whether they have proved their utility in addressing these problems. In doing so, the relevant human rights documents and other international treaties are scrutinized, as well as divergent interstate and domestic interests, in order to suggest universally valid opportunities for cooperation.
