»The Law of Trusts in Germany and France«In 2007 the French legislator decided to introduce the fiducie as general trust-like device into the Code Civil. In his thesis, Christopher Wilhelm picks up this recent development of Franch law and analyses the new French fiducie as well as its German equivalent, the Treuhand, by comparing, inter alia, rights and obligations of trustor and trustee, aspects of property and insolvency law in the context of Treuhand and fiducie as well as their treatment from an international private law perspective.
