»The Element of Crime >Demand< in Criminal Law«The thesis deals with questions of genesis, meaning and legal consequences of the »demand« in criminal law. This element of crime is to be found in Sec. 216 of the German Criminal Code (Strafgesetzbuch - »StGB«), which penalizes death on demand, and in Sec. 218a para. 1 StGB, which exempts the termination of pregnancy from punishment under certain circumstances, inter alia the demand of the pregnant woman.
