»The Infrastructure Charge«This thesis examines the constitutionality and compliance with EU law of the german Infrastrukturabgabengesetz (infrastructure charge law). By this highly controversial law the first road tax for passenger cars in the Federal Republic of Germany is implemented. The author is paying particular attention to the legal admissibility of the implementation of the infrastructure charge and the cut of german motor vehicle tax, both implemented at the same time.
