»Freedom of Expression for the Enemies of Freedom? Prohibitions of Expression for the Protection of the Free Democratic Basic Order as Instruments of Defensive Democracy«The focus of the work is the conflict that arises through the prohibition of expressions in order to protect the so-called "free democratic basic order", although freedom of expression for this basic order is generally regarded as "par excellence constituting" in German jurisprudence. The author analyses the resulting tension and questions the functionality of democracy-protecting prohibitions of expression as instruments of defensive democracy.
