Prototype Driven Development of a Distributed Whiteboard : for the pair programming plug-in Saros in an agile team

Bok av Jurke Michael
If seriously following the principles in the Agile Manifest, making pair programming distributed in the agile context seems to be a paradox. On the other hand, already the first international conference for Extreme Programming presented a notable publication related to distributed collaboration with the Team Streams system that provided support for asynchronous interaction. Over the years, several tools and plug-ins were developed for DPP. Among these you will find Saros, available as Eclipse and IntelliJ plug-ins providing synchronization of workspaces and visibility while extending views and perspectives with team supporting features. During this work Saros was iteratively extended by a distributed, SVG-based whiteboard.
