Teaching Literature : Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Literature is often more interesting and motivating than the texts found in course books.For me this means that learners are given the opportunity to find out or develop theirpersonal interests by reading a variety of different novels, poems or plays (includingvarious themes, suspense, creative language use etc.). The following work plan is intended for a 5th form of grammar school and consists of four interconnected lessons revolving around the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
