This book is titled: "International Legal Implications of Trafficking in Women and Children". Chapter one of this book deals with introduction of the subject and the historical background of trafficking in Women and Children globally. Chapter two focused on Trafficking in Women and Children in African Countries while Chapter three examined in details trafficking in Nigerian Women and Children. Chapter four addressed the International laws dealing with Slavery and Forced Labour, starting with the Slavery Convention of 1926 to the Convention Concerning the Prohibition and Immediate Action for the elimination of the Worst forms of Child Labour 1999. Chapter five analysed the different International Laws dealing with trafficking in women and children for prostitution and immoral purposes since the coming into effect of the 1904 International Convention for the Suppression of White Slave Traffic to the 2000 UN Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons. The Last Chapter is the Conclusion and Recommendations which suggested seventeen ways of curbing international trafficking in women and children globally.
