Polymethacrylate Polymers for Sustained-Release Tablet Preparation : Physicochemical Characterization of Novel Eudragit Combination for Sustained-Release Tablets Formulation

The objectives of the studies described in this book were (a) to prepare and evaluate a novel sustained-release tablet formulation that has the potential to be used as a universal dosage form for drugs of different physicochemical properties using a binary mixture of polymethacrylate polymers, and (b) to compare this novel tablet formulation with the interpolyelectrolyte complex (IPEC) tablets in terms of drug release and compressibility.
