Impact Of Diversification And Sustainable Livelihood Strategies : A case study of Lubombo Community in Mazabuka, Zambia

Diversification of economies especially in territorial geographic lagging regions in developing countries has been an issue of concern to policy makers and planners in the recent past. This is in response to the accumulating poverty levels, over dependence on one sector of the economy and increased population needs. Although still of central importance, farming on its own is increasingly unable to provide a sufficient means of survival in rural areas. The Author in this book highlights the lifestyle of people in developing counties as their surviving skills. It stresses out some vital strategies that can be applied to improve the livelihood of people at the time when poverty levels have become rampart.
