Cancer is one of the most life threatening diseases and possess many health hazard in both developed and developing countries. Leukemia is one of the most common cause of cancer occur throughout the world due to the lack of effective chemotherapeutic agents and side effects of anticancer drugs on prolong therapy of chemoprevention so anticancer patients switch over to the herbal medicine for their cure. Pyrimidines are the class of heterocyclic compound of pharmaceutical importance compound having pyrimidine ring moiety are associated with fungicidal, antibacterial, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-HIV, and anti-tumor activity. The compound prepared by the Knoevenagel and Claisen-schmidt condensation. The chemical structures were confirmed by different spectral techniques. The data of these synthesized compounds were submitted to National Institute of Health, USA under the drug discovery programmed of NCI (National Cancer Institute) and screened for anticancer activity at a single high dose (10-5 M) in full NCI 60 cell lines. The compound 3-(2-amino-6-(3-chlorophenyl)-pyrimidin-4-yl)-2H-chromen-2-one found to be most efficient anticancer activity with selective influence on brea
