Effects of Microtubule-Interfering Agents on Ahr Signalling : The role of microtubules in hepatic biotransformation

Bok av Radim Vrzal
Microtubule-interfering agents are compounds which affect microtubules network. They found use in cancer therapy (vinblastine, paclitaxel) or as anti-inflammatory agents (colchicine). Present work focuses on the effect of these compounds in signalling of aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), a ligand-activated transcription factor regulating expression of many genes, some of them being involved in biotransformation of carcinogens.
