Development of Algorithms for Chl-A and Sea Surface Temperature : Development of algorithms for demarcation of potential fishing zones

The two fundamental oceanographic factors that affect the water quality and widely used parameters for the location of fishery zones are chlorophyll-a and sea surface temperature ( SST). The research investigates the feasibility of artificial neural network to derive chlorophyll-a and sea surface temperature using MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectro-radiometer) data and to demarcate the Potential Fishery Zones (PFZs)
