Status of Plantation Workers in India - A Livelihood Approach : It is a field based study from Palani Lower Hills located in Tamilnadu, India

The plantation industry is the largest private employers in India. It is spread across the States of Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The plantation workforce has however been among the exploited workforce. This study throws light on this issue through livelihood approach.
