How to Cluster Information Seeking Behaviors in Library Search Engines

Identification and Classification of users by search engine developers and librarians are important in order to dedicate their services to the desired groups of users. Web Usage Mining studies the user patterns and behaviors surfing web sites, through the web log file. Browser Logs are a proper choice when there is no access to Web Server Access Logs and Proxy Server Logs. This book presents investigation of eight parameters of Information-Seeking Behavior which are based on "URL" and "LAST VISIT DATE TIME" fields.
