Infection Control : In Prosthodontics

Dental prostheses and impressions may prove a hazard to the dentist and dental assistant who handle them after removal from the teeth. Good cross infection control is essential both in the dental office and in the dental laboratory. The goal of infection control is to prevent the spread of infection from one patient to another and to the treating healthcare worker.
