Designing and Fabrication of a Low Price Car : Paving the way for cost-efficient automobiles

HEXA or LOW PRICE CAR, is a car designed and manufactured as a prototype vehicle. It was designed for a country like Pakistan, where the lower middle class make up the majority of Pakistan. Application of several engineering principles and innovative approaches has helped to achieve the goal of manufacturing a car which has a low capital cost, meets regulatory requirements, has acceptable performance standards and has an attractive design. This car has now been tested on the roads of Pakistan, and some improvements are to be made before mass production of this unique vehicle.
