Biomonitoring of Heavy Metals in Jakara-Getsi Catchment, Kano, Nigeria

The findings of this study are of immense value in drawing up management plans for water bodies; and can serve as a reference point when assessing changes due to nature and anthropogenic activities over time. It will also enable the government environmental protection agencies to plan viable solutions and strategies, which would be useful to the ecosystem of the basin and to the humanity as a whole.
