Intercultural Business Communication

The book proposes a new way of looking at business communication through the dimensions of national culture. It compares the ways in which the French and the British communicate in similar business situations explaining the differences by the dimensions of their national culture and the similarities by the professional culture. It also points out the difficulties a foreigner may face in learning to communicate in business and shows how cultural explanations can be used to overcome such difficulties when teaching business communication in foreign languages to undergraduate students.
