Post operative adhesions intestinal obstruction is not an uncommon problem and most of such patients develop symptoms within one year of operation. Most of such cases can be managed conservatively and intravenous steroid was found to be favourable for the successful outcome in conservative management. In the remaining cases operative intervention is a must for which various surgical variations may be required. Watchful expectancy is the keyword during the conservative treatment of such cases.
