Heavy Metals in the Fosu Lagoon and Its Health Implications

This might be one of the few books, if any, about the Fosu iagoon in Cape Coast, Ghana, and the fishermen who fish in it for livelihood. It contains research findings on the state of the lagoon,the state of fishes in the lagoon,particularly tilapia, and the state of fishing activities in and around the lagoon from 1974 to 2012. In addition, it contains recommendations from various authors as well as this author concerning the lagoon and the various activities in and around it. Students of research, academicians, tourists who throng the city daily and the general public will actually need it to tell the untold stories about the lagoon.
