Mycotic Infections Associated with Pulmonary Symptoms

Bok av Adamu Surajo
Agents of mycoses are ubiquitous and when inhaled into respiratory tract could result to serious respiratory tract infections such as aspergillosis or complicate other pulmonary diseases. In most cases they were given less priorities when laboratory investigations are required to diagnose agents that are responsible for pulmonary infections; other pathogenic microbeS are given more considerations. It is therefore recommended to diagnose mycotic agents in patients with pulmonary symptoms apart from other infective agents.
