Some Problems for Peristaltic Transport : Peristaltic transport for Newtonian fluids

Bok av Abdelsalam Sara
In physiology, peristalsis is used to propel or to mix the contents of a tube. The biological systems which involve peristalsis are the urine transport from kidney to bladder through the ureter, the transportation of chyme in the gastro-intestinal tract...etc. In the present work, we investigate peristaltic motion induced by a sinusoidal traveling wave in the porous and flexible walls of a two-dimensional channel occupied by incompressible, viscous, and electrically conducting fluid through a porous medium in the presence of a constant magnetic field taking into consideration the Hall effect.
