An Ancient Text We Forget to Acknowledge - The Indriya Sth Na : A division from 'Caraka Samhita - the treasure of clinical & scientific knowledge'

The Indriya Sthna of Caraka Samhit is an Authentic, Scientific and relevant ptopDea, and hence no intelligent person should question its significance. It is very important to understand the Prakti and Vikti before studying the Aria. Though all the Aria Lakas given in Indriya Sthna can not be examined by the modern parameters, still they are found in the patients and are quite significant. More the number of Aria in a person the more is the Nityatva (certainty) of Aria, therefore chances of fatality are more in cases with more number of Aria. The group of Aria Lakas, related to Pra and Udna Vyu and irs were found to be the more significant groups of Aria, as far as the Aria Lakaa and fatality is concerned according the case study. The Aria related to vsa and Murch were observed in a higher proportion in both the type of Groups. Classifying Aria with different aspects helps in better understanding of prognosis of the patient. The Indriya Sthna has a major role in the field of medicine as it is very important for the Medico legal aspect of the field of medicine, as well as in planning a better treatment plan for the patient.
