Synthesis of Pyrrole Derivatives : Recent Advances

Pyrrole is an essential building block in organic synthesis. Many aromatic compounds consist of the Pyrrole moiety have stimulating applications in the field of drug discovery, industry and in biology. A number of methods have been reported for the synthesis of pyrrole derivatives from starting material such as - and -dicarbonyl compounds, isonitriles. nitroalkanes and nitroalkenes, nitroolefins etc.. The use of multicomponent approaches to its preparation will continue to be an imperative effort in the future.
