Snp : A Potential Immunomodulator

Bok av Thabet Romany
SNP,a nitric oxide (NO) donor is a common medication used to affect peripheral vasodilation in arterioles and venules. SNP is often administered intravenously to patients who are experiencing a hypertensive emergency. Interesting studies have implicated that NO is a double edged soword. It has been reported that relatively low concentration of NO plays a defensive role in the immune system while higher concentration causes numerous pathological processes including inflammation.
