Multiuser Detection and Channel Estimation for DS-CDMA Systems

The intention of this book is to highlight the advantages as well as problems arising from the use of DS-CDMA with and without multiple transmit/receive antennas in the uplink of a mobile communications system and to provide theoretical insight into the system behaviour as well as practical solutions for the receiver design. These studies are driven by the author's persuasion that the theoretical understanding of the principal system properties is a mandatory prerequisite for the successful design of the actual system, while taking into account such limitations like computational complexity.
