Snodgrass "Tubularized Incised Plate" procedure is useful in distal variety as well as proximal variety hypospadias with moderate chordee. It is also useful as re-operative procedure in previously failed hypospadias. Mathieu's flip flap method is only useful in coronal and distal variety. Tubularized incised plate urethroplasty although having slightly more complications as compared to Mathieu's and Onlay flap urethroplaties, giving good cosmetic results of neomeatus at tip with slit like appearance. "TIP" can also be done in failed Mathieu's or Onlay flap but the reverse is not possible. "TIP" is as good as Mathieu's and Onlay procedure with slight advantage of its use in reoperative surgery and cosmetic look.
