Cashew is among the top tree nuts traded the world over. Apart from the general health benefits of the individual consumer, it positively affects the brain. It is the most important among the shelled nuts and the third most important nut traded in the USA. Since its development largely affects rural economies and the developed world, its appropriate propagation, processing and trading becomes of paramount importance. Provision has been made in the book by the authors to carefully guide students, teachers and lecturers to understand the practices of sowing and grafting in particular, to promote the cashew trade.
