Various incidence of poor job performance among nurses has been observed over the years. It was discovered that one of the major causes is their family make-up, in which many of them belong to commuter family, where their spouses reside in a different geographical location. It is a social problem in the nursing profession where family burdens are solely carried by one person, that leads to stress and fatigue with poor attitude.
