Eva Schwab : Nachbilder/Afterimages 2005-2010

For a decade, Eva Schwab (born 1966) has been examining her own childhood through painting. She revisits archetypal scenes from her family album, which she then transfers to wax-coated canvas, expanding and dissecting the image in an overt effort to recuperate the past.
