Romanische Philologie Als Herausforderung : Les Defis Des Etudes Romanes

Bok av Grazyna Bosy
The changes of structure and content in the world of early 21st-century Humanities have caused much grief for philology as one of the genuinely hermeneutic textual scholarly pursuits in the hierarchy of academics. On the one hand, there are demands for a re-philologizing of the discipline - and on the other the call for a more interdisciplinay role. These questions comprise the themes of the contributions to this volume by French, German, and Italian authors. R. Baum and M. Zink take on the concept of philology, while A. Corbellari, P. Gasparini, and U. Bahler look at three classics of Romantic philology: Bedier, Rajna, and Paris. The contributions by M. Espagne, F. Janowski, and H. Meter concern the relationship between philology and the cultural sciences, and thus offer an outlook at the future situation of the discipline. German, Italian, and French text.
