His first novel, "Malyuta Skuratov," Heinze published in 1891, but only on account of his several dozen novels ("Arakcheev", "Daughter of Peter the Great", "Generalissimo Suvorov", "Ermak T." etc..). His historical novels - tells about the events of topical and of interest to readers, though unassuming and sinning fiction - enjoyed great success with the public and reprinted many times, and his name was on a par with such writers as P. Boborykin, Sun. Garshin V. Korolenko. In addition, Heinze has composed and criminal domestic novels and stories ("The mud of the Bar," "Women's poison", "In the realm of ghosts," and so forth.) And plays
